Mi Casa provides streamlined access to screened, skilled and job-ready workers, allowing employers to:

All graduates of Mi Casa’s training programs have undergone an intensive screening process, including drug screen, adult basic education test, employment interest survey, criminal background check, and verification of legal status.

Tax credits/subsidies may be available for hiring Mi Casa graduates.

What training do participants receive?

Participants receive sector-focused training in one of 3 program areas:

  • Customer Service
  • Bilingual Bank Teller
  • Healthcare Professions

Participants also receive intensive soft-skills training to identify career objectives and refine interpersonal communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and time management skills.

How can I get involved?

Mi Casa can provide you with streamlined access to our skilled graduates. We provide pre- and post-hire support for up to a year after employment to ensure a successful placement.

Through volunteering as an employer partner, you can help ensure our career training curriculum stays current by serving as a guest speaker, mock interviewer, advisory council member, or more.
